Fresh Goods :: TCSS 2018 Fall Collection

When we were in the planning stages of opening our first store in 2005, one of our biggest challenges was finding the right mix of products to fill our shop (which, back then, was a little craftsman-style cottage in New Buffalo, Michigan). Over the last 13 years, choosing new products has gotten easier as we’ve met many of you, and helped you find what you need for your next adventure – whether it’s the right board for learning to surf on the Great Lakes, or the t-shirt you reach for again and again.

With our customers across the Lakes in mind, we created a new TCSS Fall Collection, a surf season-inspired selection of layering pieces designed to take you from dawn patrol to sunset sessions. Our crew can personally vouch for the comfort and durability of these items; we curated the line to include our favorites, and the stuff we've been wearing ourselves.

We’re also stoked that the collection features art from two talented Great Lakes surfers – check out their work below.

This lightning bolt design was created by Andrew Sass, a Lake Michigan surfer and Indiana native we first met when he was a grom coming into our original New Buffalo shop with his family. It’s been awesome to see Andrew grow up over the years, and we're stoked to feature his Bolts logo art.

The TCSS surfboard logo on the chest of this windbreaker is the work of Captain Jack Flynn, a Chicago-based surfer, artist, graphic designer, musician, and all-around Great Lakes legend. Jack has been an important part of Third Coast since the beginning, and his influence can be felt throughout our stores.
