RESCHEDULING

If you need to reschedule your reservation for lessons / rentals / camps, you can use the reschedule link in your confirmation email to select a new day and time. Please note that rescheduling must be completed BEFORE your original reservation time. We're happy to reschedule lessons / rentals / camps, but there are no refunds on these services.

ARRIVING ON TIME

To help make sure we can accommodate all our guests, we ask that you arrive on time for your lesson / rental / camp. If you're late for your reservation start time, your lesson / rental / camp time will still end at your scheduled reservation completion time. (For example, a 4-hour rental beginning at 1 pm will end at 5 pm, regardless of when guests arrive.) Please remember that we are on Eastern time zone.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

If we are unable to hold your lesson / rental / camp due to unsafe weather conditions, we will contact you as soon as possible so that you are aware of the change in plans and can reschedule at your convenience.

Please note that if your lesson / rental / camp will take place as planned but you don’t plan to join us due to possible weather, you will need to contact us or use the reschedule link in your confirmation email BEFORE your original reservation time.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS – PEEK PROTECT COVERAGE 

Although we are happy to reschedule your lesson / rental / camp reservation, there are no refunds on these services. For guests who would prefer the option of a refund rather than rescheduling for another date, our reservation software vendor, Peek Pro, provides the option to protect your experience through Peek Protect Coverage by Spot. This coverage is ONLY available if booking your reservation online and cannot be added after your booking has already been confirmed.

You will have the opportunity to purchase Peek Protect Coverage when purchasing your lesson / rental / camp – look for it at check-out. 

What is Peek Protect Coverage?
If you cancel your booking on your own initiative at least 24 hours before the start of your first booking, Spot will refund 100% of the protected amount listed in your confirmation email. Additional services or fees will not be refunded.

Peek Protect starts at 12:01 AM UTC on the day after you purchase your first booking and lasts until 24 hours before your first booking starts. Peek Protect is not insurance but is rather a product provided by Spot, which is not an insurance company.

Peek Protect Coverage Exclusions
Peek Protect will not cover cancellations of any booking initiated by Third Coast Surf Shop. Additionally, Peek Protect will not cover cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of your first booking.

Peek Protect Coverage Cost
‍Peek Protect costs 8% or 11% of the booking value depending on the type of booking. Peek Protect is non-refundable, even in the event that you do not use Peek Protect.

Using Peek Protect Coverage
‍If you decide to cancel your booking at your own initiative at least 24 hours before the start of your first booking and you have purchased Peek Protect, Spot will refund 100% of the protected amount listed in your confirmation email. Additional services or fees will not be refunded.

There is no proof or documentation required to use Peek Protect. Refund requests should be processed within 24-72 hours of the request. Refunds should be processed within 72-96 hours of you receiving confirmation of the cancellation of your booking.

Processing Your Refund Using Peek Protect Coverage:

  • Please click here at least 24 hours before the start of your first booking if you wish to cancel and receive a refund. You will need to provide some basic information, including your Order ID Number, the Date and Time of your experience and a brief explanation of your cancellation reason.
  • Spot will reach out via email to confirm that your booking cancellation has been processed.
  • Following this confirmation, Spot will issue you a refund within 72-96 hours, either directly or through Peek Travel. Refunds will be made in $USD and processed back to your original form of payment used to purchase Peek Protect. Please note it may take 5 to 7 business days for the funds to be returned to your account.

‍Servicing and refunds under Peek Protect are exclusively provided by Spot. To ensure prompt service, all questions should be directed to Spot, not to Third Coast Surf Shop.
