TCSS Staff Picks for Christmas 2023
If I am not at the shop soaking up the sweet smell of surf wax, I'm in my car chasing waves or other adventures. The Rad Badge Air freshener gets the job done combatting the neoprene, Husky, and wet hiking gear stank in my trusty Outback plus that orange pops!!
Nothing beats the feeling of chilling in a hammock after a long day on the trail or in the water especially when you can snuggle up with your fave human or Husky! The lightweight, packable & durable hammock with tree straps system are always in my pack for some relaxation to the max after an epic day of adventuring.
I always have one of these on my wrist. A hair tie that looks like a cute bracelet. They fit right in with my other bracelets and when I need to put my hair up, I’m set! Plus, proceeds from every purchase go to Surfrider foundation. Win Win!
These are a must have for our Michigan winters. They keep your feet warm and dry and they just look like a cool pair of high top VANS. They also have awesome grip for walking around on icy sidewalks. Cooler winter boots don’t exist!
Must-Have: Third Coast Paramore Rainbow Hoodie
This hoodie is uniquely made of super soft corduroy. I love it because it makes me think of cool summer Michigan nights.
The OG Standard Crew is super buttery soft and, best of all, features TCSS's original logo from our 2005 beginning.
Our Surf the Great Lakes poster is Great Lakes surfing personified and looks so rad on my bedroom wall.
Must-Have: True Ames CG 9.75
The True Ames Greenough 4-A is the single best surfing fin design ever and works really well on any single fin surfboard.
"Third Coast Second Street Crew is a classic soft sweatshirt perfect for those early-morning dawn patrols."
Must-Have: Surf-Fur
So warm I can't take it off! Perfect for changing out of my wetsuit on those frigid days.

Straight up the only wax that doesn't freeze when it's below zero and firing.
Must-Have: https://thirdcoastsurfshop.com/products/vissla-new-seas-5-4-hooded-v-zip-black?_pos=1&_psq=vissla-new-seas&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Most comfortable suit I've ever worn. Super stretchy for those laybacks and no friction on the shoulders--you can paddle like you're in a 3/2.
When you wanna be steely, warm and dry, there's nothing better than the Gore tex Sk8-Hi's. I've rocked these the last 2 winters and they're bomb proof.
Must-Have: Xcel Drylock 6/5 Wetsuit
I didn't grow up lake surfing and being in this cold of water and air is definitely something I'm still getting used to, the Drylock 6/5 keeps me TOASTY!
