The Logger Head is a contemporary version of an old school longboard design.

OUTLINE: The Logger Head is a wide and incredibly stable surfboard. The long parallel rails create a huge stable platform to stand and walk the board, and the full rounded nose is ideal for riding the nose.

ROCKER: Moderately flat entry rocker provides fast paddling and flowing down-the-line trim speed. The flat section through the middle gives this surfboard effortless glide, and slight lift in the tail enhances turning ability.

CONTOURS: A long, single concave under the nose provides lift for extended nose time, while vee through the belly and tail allows the rider to transition smoothly from rail-to-rail.

RAIL: Forgiving 60/40 rails not only provide bite on the wave face, but also allows for smooth transitional turns off the tail.

FOIL:Designed with plenty of volume through the nose and tail, and also out towards the rails, providing added stability and making this board simple to ride, regardless of your skill level.

AESTHETIC: Finished with 2 x 6ox layers on the deck and a single layer plus a fins patch on the bottom, coated with traditional resin tint, rail laps and matte sanded finish.

FIN: The Retro comes with a single fin box and 9″ inch Rake fin.

Mid Length surfboards have become popular over the last couple of years. The versatility of the Hermit is the reason it works in such a wide range of conditions.

The Hermit is probably the primary go-to board in the TCSS range if you wanted to surf every day and only had one board to surf on.

We have set the volume to moderate to help get into the waves early and set up for long runs.

The generous outline and smooth curves mean this board is designed to have excellent balance between drawing long smooth lines in cruise mode and pulling a great turn on the open face when the opportunity presents. Without doubt, the Hermit will be one of your favourite boards.

The Superfish 4 (SF4) is an amalgamation of the Superfish 3 shape, with some old design features from the past. While still targeted at surfer’s looking for a high volume modern fish shape, we believe this is our best Superfish yet; offering the perfect balance of stability and turning response

OUTLINE: Wider nose, fuller outline up front, and parallel rails create a large stable platform through to middle to generate speed. We’ve eliminated the flyer making a smoother curve in the back half of the board. The tail outline tapers so you can make tighter radius turns when you position your back foot right on the tail. The swallow tail also adds bite especially in smoother conditions.

DESIGN: The return of the original step deck! This feature increases volume through the spine and out towards the rails, creates a flatter deck, while allowing for a lower, more sensitive feeling rail. Single-to-double concave delivers a very consistent and predictable feel, without restricting speed or the ability to transition quickly from rail-to-rail between turns.

ROCKER: The 3 stage rocker is well balanced, with just enough flip in the entry to prevent nose-diving in steeper waves. The flatter mid section maintains forward drive and flow. Moderate curve out the tail presents the opportunity to really jam a nice turn when pushing harder off your back foot.

FOIL: We’ve added volume to this model, under the chest and extending towards the nose and tail. This provides amazing paddle power so you can get into waves early.

PERFORMANCE: Renowned for its wave catching prowess, this model really does appeal to a wide demographic. It’s the perfect board if you’ve just started turning and you want to progress to the next level of performance. Or maybe you’re getting a little older, you’re struggling on a smaller board, and you want to keep turning. From knee high, to well overhead, the SF4 will keep you coming back for more.

The 7S Super Fish does not come with fins. See spec table below for suggested template.

Imagine riding in an old Cadillac… You know how the old classic cars just seem to glide and almost float along the road? Well, that’s exactly the feel on offer with the Salt Gypsy Dusty Longboard.

The Dusty is by no means a performance Longboard, this board is about getting onto waves really early, setting the line, and then feeling the trim as you cruise down the line. Optimum conditions are small to medium size waves, and it will really feel at home on a long point wave.

*All Salt Gypsy surfboards were tested and designed with appropriate dimensions and volume allocations to suit female surfers so they can get the most out of every wave – they also come in a 100% stretch cotton dust jacket ensuring that zero plastic is used in the packaging of these surfboards.

This one is defined as a mid-length cruiser with a few smaller sizes in the offering for the more petite girls and those with some intent to their approach.

Stable and buoyant, with a sexier shape and some performance hidden within the design, the Falcon is the perfect board for beginner-to-intermediates wanting a board that gets better as your skills improve.

OUTLINE: The wide point is forward to enhance trim stability from a central stance position, and the streamlined nose gives the outline a contemporary vibe. The back half of the board tapers steadily towards the tail for easier turning in smaller waves, and to heighten control in slightly larger waves.

CONTOURS: The rocker strikes a balance between paddle speed and just enough nose/tail lift for accessing steeper parts of the wave. Forward vee running to vee/double concave between the feet allows for very smooth rail transitions and a responsive feel when standing further back.

FOIL: Designed with plenty of volume through the spine for appropriate buoyancy and stability. The taper at the tips provides better performance sensitivity when riding on the wave face.

PERFORMANCE: The dual-purpose nature of the Falcon offers a stable and cruisy ride for surfers coming off a softboard or bigger longboard. Alternatively, more capable riders will find a surprising amount of speed a response when adopting a more aggressive approach.

With a name like The All Rounder it’s no surprise this surfboard will have a large sweet spot when it comes to catching waves. Essentially, it is designed to be an affordable, user-friendly longboard that’s spec’d appropriately for easy riding with an emphasis on stability, control and smooth turning.

OUTLINE: While not too dissimilar to other longboards on the market, The Allrounder has a very balanced outline, with loads of surface area up front for surfers more capable at nose riding, a parallel mid-section which creates a huge standing zone, and enough taper in the tail to break a line and turn smoothly.

ROCKER: Nice and low through the entry makes for fast paddling, which equates to more waves, tick! Relaxed through the middle, but with enough curve to promote a nice turning arc on the wave face. And finally, there’s a little extra lift in the tail to make turning easier for surfers moving up in their abilities

CONTOURS: While most performance longboards have complex concaves for rapid movement and response, The All Rounder has a more simplistic soft vee in the entry and middle, running into vee/double concave through the tail. This is designed to help promote smoother rail-to-rail transitions on a longer board, yet still provide control in steeper sections, and deliver a feeling of pivotal sensitivity when turning right off the tail.

PERFORMANCE: This is the perfect entry level longboard due to the volume allocations, the ease at which it rides, and of course the price. However, more savvy surfers will tap into the true versatile nature of this board and its reliability across so many different types of waves. If you’re a traveller, or just like having one dependable longboard in your quiver, this is it.

Check out these real-life scenarios: You feel under volumed and the struggle of paddling is real. You catch the wave but the surfboard so unstable you can't get to your feet. Your home break is weak and small most of the time. You are a big human that can still surf really well but there's not a surfboard out there that has enough foam/volume for you. The Jumbo Jet has a 2 + 1 fin set up that turns easily thanks to the smooth lines of the round tail. Complimented by a tucked edge in the tail and modern rocker the Jumbo Jet accommodates the surfer that wants to go down the line, hit the section and move the board where ever it needs to go.

Throw in a little nose concave to help create lift for those heavier surfers allowing them to nose ride like a champ. The Jumbo Jet goes well in all conditions from small crappy beach breaks to beautiful points and steeper more challenging waves.

The shorter versions of the Jumbo Jet (7'2 and 8’0) will work a treat, they’re like the 'big guys' shortboard. These boards are for anyone that needs a little bit of help increasing their wave count.
