Riding the Dunes

Fall is prime surf season in the Great Lakes, but what to do when it’s flat? Cooler days are ideal for shredding in the local dunes, where open faces and clearly marked trails leave no trace and make no harm. If you already surf, skate, skimboard, or snowboard, you'll love riding a sandboard.
